Lessons-Learned Training
DARWARS Ambush! provides military training based on experiences of personnel in the field, and includes capabilities to ensure the fast capture and dissemination of lessons learned. The initial application has involved convoy-operations training, but Ambush! is beginning to be applied in other areas, including platoon level mounted infantry tactics, dismounted operations, Rules-of-Engagement training, cross-cultural communications training, and has the flexibliity to apply in other areas as well.
Immersive, Multi-player Experience
As a part
of the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) DARWARS program,
DARWARS Ambush! is designed to revolutionize training and increase readiness
by providing a training environment that is:
- Varied - Giving individuals and groups real practice across a wide range of skills.
- Safe - Creating opportunities to exercise critical
decision-making and communication skills in an environment where
it's safe to make mistakes and learn from them.
- Available - Making appropriate training available instantly to anyone, anywhere.
- Engaging - Making training so engaging that our forces choose to train, opting to come back again and again to practice and hone skills.
